Biogas as a driver for climate goals, innovations and experiences from the two countries are on the agenda when the strongest forces within Danish and American biogas sectors gather for a summit on Monday 23 August 2021.

24.01.2020 Next week, Thomas Hwan Jensen and Daniel Berman from The Danish Energy Agency will join Chris Voell from The Trade Council Biogas Team in Washington DC for a one week Biogas Go Global mission to the East Coast more notably Washington DC and New York State. In contrast to California, the legislative framework is still being developed in the aforementioned states as well as the conditions for digester systems seems more favourable.
22.01.2020 Joining Biogas Go Global at the start of 2020, Daniel will be responsible for establishing partnerships with US public authorities under BGGs work package 2, as well as contributing his knowledge and expertise within modelling, analysis, and optimization of sustainable energy systems. More specifically these competences include analysis of economic feasibility, environmental impacts through lifecycle analysis (LCA), and industrial process design.
19.09.2019 Recently an American delegation from the organisation I-Sustain visited Denmark to learn more about the Danish biogas sector. At Agro Business Park in Foulum, Denmark, the group was introduced to the Biogas Go Global initiative and visited Aarhus University’s biogas plant.
